The Astoria Spa Sanatorium is well situated in the centre of the spa district, right opposite the Mill Colonnade with the mineral springs. The complex of five connected building, whose architecture is particulary interesting, was built in 1880/1990. Since 1920 it has been used as a spa building. Thanks to numerous restorations and renovations the Astoria Sanatorium offers excellent conditions for accommodation. 70% of beds are located in rooms with a view of the colonnade. The therapetuic section provides most spa treatments right in the building.

Indications of spa treatment:
- Disorders of the digestive system
- Disorders resulting from metabolic disfunction: diabetes mellitus, obesity, metabolic lipid disorders, disorders in the metabolism of uric acid (gout)
- Disorders of the locomotive organs: painful vertebrectonal syndromes and osteo-arthrosis
- Mental and physical ergasthenia
