This spa hotel was built in 1870. It is a 4 - star category hotel. There used to be a spa house in it, one of the best in Karlovy Vary.The hotel īs building is a town architectural and cultural monument. In 1927 the Great Russian scientist rested in it and afterwards the hotel was named after him. For a long time there was Research institute of Balneology in the Pavlov spa house. In the 1996 - 97 a reconstruction was carried out on the hotel. The hotel is located in the centre of the spa on, on the right bank of the Tepla River a few minutes walk from the minerals springs.
