A modern spa sanatorium which is situated in a quiet spa part of Karlovy Vary. The Lipno and Varna villas are a part of the Sanssouci Sanatorium. There is a bus stop in the vicinity of the sanatorium. The bus connects the sanatorium with both the spa part and the shopping part of the town.
In 1997 a new therapeutic department has been built which provides most treatment right in house.

Indications of spa treatment:
- Disorders of the digestive system including early and late post-operative problems. Disorders of the liver and panceras.
- Metabolic disorders, especially diabetes mellitus and its complications, metabolic lipid disorders, gout and obesity
- Disorders of the locomotive organs
- Diseases of the modern world, particulary those in the state of functional disorders

Dietary meals depending on the character of the disease. Individual diets, vegetarian meals, special diet fort patients suffering from celiac disease
